Mark Wahlberg donned a wig on set of his upcoming crime thriller, By Any Means, and fans could hardly recognize him.

According to Page Six, the standout underwent quite the transformation to embody his character, mob hitman Scarpa, including a wig, a chin and nose prosthetic, and attire he doesn't typically wear. Photos obtained by the outlet depict The Union actor in a brown suit with a red undershirt and matching glasses. As previously mentioned, he is wearing a brown wig that makes his locks appear much longer and nose and chin prosthetics that make his facial features larger.

The film, which also features Josh Lucas, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Strathairn, and Nicole Beharie, to name only a few silver screen greats, follows "A notorious mafia hitman (Wahlberg) and a young Black FBI agent who team up to investigate the murders of civil rights leaders in 1966 Mississippi," per IMDB.

Page Six mentioned that the actor might have also put on some weight for the role and is no stranger to gaining a few pounds for a film, as seen in 2022's Father Stu. Wahlberg told Entertainment Weekly that he had to eat 11,000 calories per day to achieve the desired look for the role.
