New Orleans may be considered the birthplace of jazz, but did you know that it is ST. LOUIS that is credited with the pre-jazz and pre-blues style of ragtime leading to the creation of jazz and blues in the early 1900's? Seems fitting then, that Jazz legend Dave Koz and his bandmates during one of many flight delays during their tour, were inspired to have an impromptu jazz session on a plane while delayed on the tarmac in St. Louis!
