My mother-in-law is taking the kids for a full week. All three.
This is the first time my wife and I will be alone in 12 years. She'll probably kick me out by the end of the week.
Anyway, I was packing for Charlie, and I thought I'd pass along a great hack my wife and I use when travelling with the kids.
This is for new parents (and I wish someone would've told me about this years ago).
- Lay out 7 outfits (or the number of days you'll be gone). I'm talking socks, undes, shirt and pants.
- Take one shirt, one pair of pants, one underwear, one pair of socks and roll them together.
- Stuff them into a gallon Ziplock.
- Do the same for the other outfits and, like magic, there's no morning chaos while on vacation.
Just throw the kids a Ziplock every morning and that's there outfit. They take the outfit from the prior day and stuff it in the empty bag.
Your welcome. Enjoy your vacation.
