The New York attorney general, Letitia James, is running for reelection in 48 days, and she’s launched this civil probe of President Trump, his kids, and the Trump Organization.
This feels transparently political — and again, it is civil, not criminal in nature.
This is Trump Derangement Syndrome. She wants Trump badly. The fact that she couldn’t find criminal charges is a very big deal.
They are going to charge Trump, and if they tak ehim out, they will move to Ron DeSantis. It’ll be, “Trump is worse than Hitler, and Ron DeSantis is worse than Trump who is worse than Hitler.”
They will do it without batting an eyelash.
