However, the issue has not received widespread national attention, possibly due to the reluctance of law enforcement and politicians to acknowledge the involvement of Chinese individuals. Robinson also highlights the fear and lack of courage among Mainers in speaking out against the corrupt government and the cultural problem it poses.
